Library provides computer workstation designed for readers with visual or hearing impairments and those with mobility disabilities. You can find it in Periodicals Reading Room (Room 502).
The workstation comprises the following elements:
A step-free wheelchair ramp and wide automatic doors are located at the building's main entrance.
Facilities:
The building features a restroom adapted for people with disabilities.
Guide dogs are welcomed.
Sensory and Cognitive Considerations:
Library is equipped with acoustic booths available in reading rooms for neurodivergent individuals. A multi-person booth (Room 502) and single-person booths (Room 504) were purchased specifically for people with attention and concentration difficulties. These are excellent spaces for studying in peace and quiet.
The acoustic booths were acquired as part of the "Sea of Accessibility – University of Technology Without Barriers" project, funded by the European Funds for Social Development 2021–2027 (FERS).

- ergonomic computer chair with adjustable armrests and an adjustable headrest
- 27-inch computer monitor
- Large print keyboard for the visually impaired
- computer equipped with an assistive ZoomText Magnifier and Reader
- software, designed for people with low vision
- enlarged "Big Track" computer mouse
- hearing loop that improves listening comfort and sound quality
- electronic magnifier for the visually impaired, providing up to 32x image magnification on the computer screen
- Snow 12 portable video magnifier which incorporates OCR (optical character recognition) to convert text to speech, resulting in a machine that delivers true visual independence for people with low vision.
- lamp with adjustable LED brightness
- headphones with a microphone.
